Sea Angels is a gouache painting on black paper created in 2021. Sea angels are a type of sea slug, while graceful and almost ethereal in appearance, to their prey they are vicious predators. They are also simultaneously hermaphroditic, meaning they are male and female. The sea angel is a reminder of our need for balance. We can be graceful and vicious.
